What stands out the most is how wonderfully the author describes the thoughts that are often behind ones self discovery, especially when it falls outside the expected norms. The book challenges a number of stereotypes with humor and care. The concept that a daddy has to be older than his boy, or older in general, or the idea that the Daddy/boy dynamic has to be complex or filled with BDSM play to be valid.Here we get inside the thoughts, dreams and fears of both daddy and boy as they navigate a new world of their previously unrealized desires. Daddy adapts almost too quickly but the boys struggles are easy to identify with.All in all a warm romance a kinky twist. This book was sweet, super hot, and a bit heartbreaking. Jordan seems put together on the outside, but is out of control on the inside.
